In Scotland a Home Information Pack will become mandatory on 1st December 2008. The home information pack will be provided by the home owner and be made available to the purchaser.

Other than new dwellings or conversions at the time of their first occupancy, Home Reports will be available with Scottish residential properties bought or sold after this date.

As well as general legal and historic information the Home Information Pack will contain two other main documents. The Home Report and the Energy Performance Certificate, providing home buyers with much more information about that particular property than they will have ever seen before.

Richard Amos Ltd will provide impartial advice to home owners, carry out the Home Report, assess the energy performance of the dwelling and produce an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
